Centered around the artist Mac DeMarco, I aimed for this piece to encapsulate every aspect of Mac, leading him to become such a beloved and influential musician. The project was assembled and animated completely in Premiere along with some audio mixing done in Audition. The piece is split in two distinct parts, illustrating two of my favorite sides to DeMarco: frantic, upbeat, and excited versus a more melancholy reflection. Interspersed throughout is more detailed sides to DeMarco’s style, but I wanted the main takeaway for viewers to be his calm outlook amidst his crazy life.
