“Behind the Crystal Veil” Short

This is a short film I created about a college kid who is trying to handle the loss of his older brother. The one rule I had to follow in making the film was that there could not be any speaking or dialogue. I wrote, shot, and edited the entirety of the piece. I wanted the whole vibe to be dreamlike, utilizing soft colors and natural lighting. In the process of editing, I found that this style paired interestingly with our main character who is basically a ghost floating around his campus.
