CM Punk Propaganda

The goal of this piece was to create something that looked like propaganda art. The subject is wrestler CM Punk, a passionate Chicago native. When he wrestled, he was such a loudmouth, tough character that I wanted to depict him as a kind of giant, standing over all of Chicago. The colors used are all based off the Chicago flag, and the Japanese characters say “it’s clobbering time”, which was Punk’s catchphrase he would yell as he made his way to the ring.
